If this is your first visit:
1) Roma, Condesa, Polanco, Reforma neighborhoods are quite safe, even at night. El Centro less so.
2) Best way to get around is Uber - affordable and reliable - use Comfort class or better
3) Locals eat main meal, "comida", around 2-3PM & restaurants are generally pretty empty at noon & from 5 until about 8PM
